Comparision between two best mid range smartphones Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus and Vivo v9
From last year the craze of infinity screen i.e., bezel less screen has been increasing and almost all brands have started working on their displays to make the screen to body ratio nearly equal to 100%.
LG G6 was the first of this kind with infinity display and then followed by Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8+. Then came the iPhone X with end to end display but having a notch at the top to accommodate the Face ID, sensors and camera.
But not everyone would be able to buy these devices because of its price range. This is the situation where devices like Samsung Galaxy A6 plus and Vivo v9 come into the picture. Without any further discussion about other devices lets compare these two devices based on some major factors.
Display & Design
Both the devices comes with Aluminium body. Samsung galaxy A6 plus has a infinity display and the Vivo V9 has a end to end display with aspect ratio's 18.5:9 and 19:9 with 1080x2220 pixels and 1080x2280 pixels with 6.0" and 6.3" display sizes respectively. Though the display of Vivo V9 is bigger than Galaxy A6 plus, Vivo V9 is still smaller because of its end to end display. Cleary Vivo V9 wins when compared to resolution, aspect ratio and display size. But what really matter is the quality that they produce. The Galaxy A6 plus comes with Super AMOLED display where as Vivo V9 comes with IPS LCD display. Samsung has always been the winner in the quality of the display that it uses because the Super AMOLED display that it uses is the best in the market and produces images with crip and fine quality with deeper blacks or nearly 100% blacks. This ensures that Galaxy's display consumes less battery when compared to Vivo V9's display. Even the color reproduction in the galaxy A6 plus is far ahead of the Vivo V9's display. So at last it doesn't matter how much you see. But what really matter's is what you see and how you see. So for quality Galaxy A6 plus and for size Vivo v9.Performance
When it comes to the performance Samsung Galaxy A6 plus uses Snapdragon 450 processor and Vivo V9 uses Snapdragon 626 processor. It is already clear that 600 series processors are best when compared to 400 series processors. So clearly speed wise Vivo V9 is ahead of the Samsung Galaxy A6 plus here. And both of the devices are equiped with the same GPU i.e., Adreno 506 that guarantees best gaming performance and both equiped with 4GB ram. Both of the devices comes with 64GB internal storage which is enough to install number of applications and to store pictures, videos and documents. If this is not sufficient then both the devices even supports external memory card up to 256 GB.Performance even depends on software stability. So as long as the device has the software support and gets security and stability updates devices will be able to perform well.
Camera
When it comes to a smartphone the major factor that people tend towards is camera quality. Here both the devices comes with dual rear camera. Both the devices comes with the same MegaPixels i.e., 16MP + 5MP. But they differ in apperture size. Samsung Galaxy A6 plus has f/1.7 for 16MP lens and f/1.9 for 5MP lens. Vivo V9 has f/2.0 for 16MP lens and f/2.4 for 5MP lens. Less the apperture more the intake of light and brighter the images are in the dark. So Samsung galaxy A6 plus can take pictures with great quality from its rear camera shooter when compared to Vivo V9.Both of them are equiped with 24MP front camera. The main difference here again is the apperture size f/2.0 for Vivo V9 and f/1.9 for Samsung Galaxy A6 plus. Therefore making the galaxy A6 plus the better camera even in low light. Not only the size of aperture makes it better but the A6 plus comes with selfie flash. So now you can even click pictures where there is low light conditions or no light condition.
